About the Role
We’re looking for a Software Engineer Intern to join our team and help us build the world’s best sleep analysis platform, using a complex array of cognitive and physiological data to provide actionable insights. Responsibilities: - Assist with development, maintenance, and debugging of the web application for Fascia’s central sleep data platform. - Refine user interfaces, ensuring an intuitive and effective user experience for researchers, competitive athletes, and healthcare providers. - Create compelling data visualizations to communicate complex sleep insights in a clear and engaging way. Qualifications: - Must have experience working with real-time, time-series data,. - Must have understanding of data structures and data types. - Must have experience with the following technologies: PostgreSQL, ReactJS, NodeJS, and D3. - Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and CloudFormation - Experience with Agile development methodologies and Git version control - Strong communication and collaboration abilities - Keen eye for design, aesthetics, and user experience Compensation: - Hourly Rate: $20-$25/hr, depending on experience - Hours: Up to 40 hours per week - Flexible hours and hybrid or remote work - Potential opportunity to join Fascia full-time after graduation
