About the Company/Team
I'm commercializing interactive light artwork designed for small spaces — think a glowing, motion-reactive art piece that shifts moods based on how you move through your room. Built around a grid of neopixels and motion sensors behind milk glass, it’s designed for college students and young adults who want tech-enabled / motion-responsive ambiance in their dorms or apartments. I built an initial prototype last fall in the How to Make (almost) Anything class, but there is still lots of work to do to get it ready.
About the Role
I'm looking for a technical product lead with extensive C++/embedded experience (Arduino, ESP32, etc) who’s excited by creative tech, ambient computing, or interactive design. Bonus if you’re into the intersection of art and hardware.
Since this is a product lead company and I've done a lot of customer discovery already, I am ready to build and launch on kickstarter. Even though I built the initial prototype, I am not a technical person and I need someone who is capability of getting this manufacturing ready!
