About the Role

Prototyping & Product Development – Lead the design, prototyping, and testing of our marine security system, ensuring functionality, manufacturability, and durability. Material Science & Engineering – Select optimal materials for saltwater and freshwater environments, balancing corrosion resistance, strength, weight, and cost-effectiveness. Mechanical System Design – Develop a secure locking mechanism that integrates physical security with digital tracking features. Manufacturing & Production Readiness – Design for scalability, optimizing for cost-effective mass production. Work closely with manufacturers and patent lawyers to bring the product from prototype to full-scale production. Collaboration & Innovation – Work alongside the founding team and other engineers to refine product functionality and explore new features. Performance Testing & Optimization – Conduct stress tests, environmental durability tests, and iterate on designs based on real-world conditions. Intellectual Property & Patent Support – Work with the team on patent development, ensuring our product has unique, protectable features.
